I remember the warmth first, the kind that stays on your skin long after leaving the water. We spent our days moving around the island with the sea never far from view. Everything in San Andrés seemed to move a little slower, easy, effortless, and never quite long enough. It’s the kind of place you leave, but somehow never completely leave behind.

I remember how alive everything felt. The flowers, the colours, the energy of the streets, but most of all, the people. There’s a warmth to Medellín that goes beyond its endless spring. The city feels like it’s always growing, always blooming, always inviting you to stay a little longer.
